President Ghani Concerns

It’s not that I’m so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer.

_ Albert Einstein

The reforms of first enlighten Sovereign of the Kingdom of Afghanistan Amir Amanullah Khan were the pillars of the regional progress towards their economic problems and independence from two major powers; the Soviet Union and the United Kingdom as now known as Russia and Britain. He had given a constitution of equality, freedom of thoughts, women rights, and his constitution overturned centuries old-traditions such strict codes of dress, transactions between Asia and Europe, borrowing intellectual books from India. He had made common his action plan about co-education, anti-corruption and anti-smuggling campaigns. He had dismissed fake mullahs and structured Afghan air force. Later, these all changes brought shifting into social and political thinking of Afghan people and the region.

Some other reforms were also appreciative like establishing the Mili Bank of Afghanistan (National Bank of Afghanistan), Afghan currency and proper taxation system and a proper budget. But, these all changes were not up to the major powers and that’s why they had kicked off religious propaganda against all these humanistic reforms of the king Amir Amanullah Khan. A bloody counter strategy was utilized through a group of gangster under the supremacy of Khost Goad Mullah and Habibullah Kalakani.

Now, Ghani pragmatic policy towards its neighbors, regional and international powers brings optimism for tackling national and regional downturns. For the first time, he assures the regional powers that their policies intake the interest of the region.

President Ghani pragmatic loom towards Saudi and Iran for answering the security threats and exposing the fundamentalist version of the Pakistani madrassahs, as now appeared threat for our national security and the existence of states, was not something very simple but serious concern of our national intelligence units as they brought into power on many fronts for the sake of the regional security and peace.

His historical intellectual speech in the USA congress was unique and appreciable and full of meanings. He informed the world supreme power America to not boost the fundamentalists and then later the results came into seeing in the form of sanctioning Haqqani Network. He also informs Russia and China that we are fighting your war and we need your help in countering ISIS. As the concerns of Ghani were not taken serious but now we are the witnesses that Russia itself worries about ISIS influence and the Russian forces were mandatory to expand their military operations in Syria.

Pakistan was also informed by the President about its sympathy for terrorists like LeJ, TTP, and Afghan Taliban. Then soon later Pakistan learned the consequences by killing Punjab Interior Minister, Colonel (retd) Shuja Khanzada, military man and politician, and two further attacks on the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. But unfortunately, Pakistan again traditionally blamed India for all these attempts instead of acting against domestic terrorists. Taliban’s leader Mullah Umar death, Quetta Shura, a militant organization composed of the top leadership of Taliban, as well as the Haqqani Network, a guerrilla terrorist group using asymmetric warfare involved in killing US-led NATO forces and Afghan forces and civilians. Their open gatherings in Pakistan prove Pakistan’s sincerity and action against terrorist. It looks that Pakistan still doesn’t understand the intellectual perspective of President Ashraf Ghani.

Port of Chabahar, the only Iranian port in southern Iran with direct access to the ocean and its future results are something can turn the tables in the favor of regional powers.

President Ghani can play a pioneer role in protecting regional interest. He is an iron man in bringing reforms – the regional powers need to support his stand against terrorism
