The Impacts of Afghan NSA Visits

Afghanistan’s strategic importance attracts the stakeholders willing for equipping Afghan National Army and its institutions. Afghanistan location is so crucial for the regional durable stability and development. President Ashraf Ghani also vowed to transfer Afghanistan from a buffer state to stable peace developer and contributor in trade and industry and transactions. The world super power America also understands that Afghanistan can be a square for regional stability and transaction in many ways.

The world needs to have a proper communication with Afghanistan to get rid of misunderstanding in the regional development. Afghanistan’s National Security Adviser, Hanif Atmar is quite careful about the ongoing economic as well as strategic changes in the region. He has succeeded to get in confident the world’s major players in bringing stability to Afghanistan for the cause to introduce as a bridge between South and Central Asia.

He has already scheduled to visit China, Russia and other regional powers to convince them to fight against the menace of terrorism in the region. His recommendations made it stronger after the Paris bloody attacks against the innocent people of France. Now, this is the time to understand the fight against terrorism through economic development and making chances of employment to those who are fighting to satisfy their basic needs through getting money for their families.

The fight against terrorism is really important in this juncture for the sake to protect the interest of the region. All those who are cashing their image through promoting terrorism and fundamentalism in order to put pressure on the stakeholders are the worst enemies of the regional interest.

Atmar, the sources said, has asked for India to consider contributing to a long list of deficits in logistics and strike capacity, including training equipment, air and ground mobility assets, engineering infrastructure and light infantry weapons.

The Russian ambassador to Kabul, Alexender Mantytskyy revealed his government had also asked a request for “certain types of assistance free of charge.” The Russian ambassador to Kabul also acknowledged the will to facilitate the Afghan Air force, Afghan National Army and in other ways.

Afghanistan’s National Security Adviser declared the fall of Kunduz a disaster and risk for the regional stability, so he asks the world major’s power to help Afghanistan in this juncture.

On the other side, China has already shown interest investing in the security sector, and they consider it important to secure and defend Afghanistan from the menace of terrorism based on their internal security risks and border security.

The National Security Adviser already won the heart of the United States while signing the BSA for future strategy against terrorism. That’s why the American President Obama hails signing of BSA with Afghanistan as ‘historic’. The regional powers need to cooperate with Afghanistan’s National Security Adviser regional and international vision for the very best purpose of stability and durable peace in the region. The current conflicts can be addressed through economic cooperation and trade rather than supporting terrorists.

I don’t expect that Atmar will be able to control the internal rifts within the Afghan government, but still he is a man of big heart and broad vision – Pakistan will deviate and challenge the Indian interest in Afghanistan and certainly it will bring instability to the region.
