Bill Gates addressed the latest Jeffrey Epstein files in an interview with 9News Australia on February 4, 2026. He called it "foolish" to have spent time with the convicted sex trafficker and said he regrets "every minute" with him.
Gates denied allegations based on a 2013 draft email Epstein wrote to himself, claiming Gates had extramarital affairs with Russian girls and even slipped antibiotics to Melinda for an STI caught from them.
Gates labeled the email "absurd and completely false," insisting it was never sent but showed Epstein's desperation to defame him after their relationship soured.
The email claims Epstein helped Gates cover up the consequences of his escapades with Russian girls and arranged meetings with married women. Gates' team ran to the usual media outlets, insisting Epstein was just bitter and trying to smear him.
Gates insists he only met Epstein for so-called philanthropy dinners, never set foot on the island, and never met any women through him.
Melinda French Gates, in an NPR "Wild Card" podcast on February 3, 2026, called the revelations "painful times in my marriage" and said Bill has questions to answer. She insisted those named in the files must respond, not her. Their 2021 divorce cited Bill's Epstein ties as a factor, with Melinda reportedly disturbed by meetings continuing after Epstein's 2008 conviction.
Gates' ties to Epstein go back to 2011. There are photos from March of that year showing Gates at Epstein's New York mansion, surrounded by the usual cast of powerful men: his science adviser Boris Nikolic, Jes Staley, and Larry Summers.
Gates took Epstein's plane to Palm Beach in 2013. Emails from 2011 to 2014 show Epstein trying to rope Gates into a multibillion-dollar fund, which Gates claims he turned down. Even after Epstein's conviction, Gates kept meeting with him, only admitting years later that it was a 'huge mistake.'
The files expose how elites like Gates were buddy-buddy with a monster who trafficked girls as young as 13-14. No victim has yet accused Gates of abuse, and he faces no charges, but his repeated meetings raise red flags about what he did, knew, or ignored.
Gates' regret is too little, too late. A real leader walks away from evil at the first sign, not after years of dinners and deals with a convicted predator.
The Epstein rot runs deep, and men like Gates should be dragged into the light until every secret is exposed.
