Italian cops just nabbed a violent illegal hiding in plain sight, living in a Christmas nativity and posing as part of the set.
A 38-year-old Ghanaian migrant who vanished from Bologna after getting a nine-month sentence for assault turned up in the most on the nose place possible, wedged into a life size nativity scene in the town square of Galatone in southern Italy, arms raised like a statue next to the crib.
The mayor says he walked past, realized there was suddenly a second shepherd in the display, and called police, who found the man had literally been sleeping in the nativity and admitted he was using it to hide from the law.
