Musk did not let the latest Epstein file release pass without calling it out for what it is. On January 31, 2026, he posted on X that unless this leads to arrests of those who actually committed crimes with Epstein, it is all for nothing.
The Department of Justice released more than three million pages the previous day. Among them were emails from 2012 and 2013 between Musk and Epstein. The messages discussed possible visits to Epstein's private island, Little St. James. In one from November 2012, Musk asked what day would have the "wildest party" on the island. Other exchanges involved Epstein offering helicopter rides and Musk mentioning dates around his schedule, sometimes including his then-wife Talulah Riley.
Musk has said repeatedly that he never went to the island and turned down every invitation. He has denied any close relationship or involvement in Epstein's crimes. He also pointed out that he pushed harder than almost anyone for the full release of the Epstein files long before this batch appeared.
Flight records also show nothing incriminating about Musk related to the island.
In his January 31 post, Musk wrote, "What matters is not release of some subset of the Epstein files, but rather the prosecution of those who committed heinous crimes with Epstein. When there is at least one arrest, some justice will have been done. If not, this is all performative. Nothing but a distraction."
He followed up by saying he had "very little correspondence" with Epstein, never flew on the Lolita Express, and never visited the island. Musk added that he knew old emails could be twisted by people looking to attack him, but the facts remain unchanged.
The released documents show no evidence that Musk committed any crime, traveled to the island, or took part in Epstein's activities. The emails remain limited to scheduling attempts that never led to actual meetings.
Epstein was also found to be part of the conspiracy to corrupt and destabilize the youth through the transgender insanity, which affected Elon Musk personally through his son.
The real scandal is the refusal to arrest and prosecute the powerful figures who actually abused victims alongside Epstein. Until those people face handcuffs and courtrooms, every document drop looks like a deliberate sideshow meant to protect the guilty while pretending something meaningful happened.
