Rupert Lowe Launches Restore Britain as National Political Party

Rupert Lowe announced the launch of Restore Britain as a national political party on February 13, 2026. The event took place in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, where Lowe serves as Member of Parliament. He was elected in July 2024 for Reform UK but now sits as an independent following his suspension and departure from that party in March 2025.

Born in 1957, Lowe is a businessman and farmer, best known for running Southampton Football Club. He makes no secret of his outsider status, having never belonged to the career politician class.

Restore Britain

Restore Britain plans to field hundreds of qualified candidates at the next general election. These candidates will come from backgrounds in business, the military, science, and medicine rather than career politicians.

The party's key priorities include strict immigration control. Restore Britain aims to reverse mass immigration, detain and deport all illegal migrants, and remove foreign nationals who fail to integrate or commit crimes.

Welfare reform is front and center. If you can work, you will work. Those who repeatedly turn down jobs will see their benefits cut.

On the economy, Restore Britain seeks to reduce taxes on work and enterprise, slash unnecessary regulation, and dismantle bloated quangos to encourage business growth and wealth creation.

Cultural restoration is at the heart of the party’s mission. Restore Britain will defend the nation’s Christian heritage, stand firm against radical Islam, ban the burka, outlaw Sharia law, and put a stop to slaughter in the UK.
